Proposal

The Lady of the Lake was a ghost story told to me not to long ago, by a friend of my mother. This being basicly the only ghost story around, about, in, or even under texas that I know, I will tell it to you... On one 1943 July night, on White Rock Lake there was a young couple out on their boat having a nice time. A blond young women in her 20s wearing a white evening drees, gets off the boat when it docks. In a rage the young women gets in her boyfriends car and starts to drive home in a hurry. The roads around the lake are dark and the young lady looses control of the car turning it into the water. The young lady drownds and is never to be herd from again, Or is she? It is said that every night the Lady of the Lake; in her white gown dripping wet, will try and find a ride home. Every now and then a nice couple or who ever has room in their car will offer the lady a ride and when they turn to ask her for directions she is gone frome the car, leaving only a wet spot where she sat. Aventually when the kind people get to the address given to them by the lady, the man that answers the door claims to be the girls father and tells the people of her death. This friend of mine that told me this story; who you will learn the name of later, said  that her father told her this ghost story, and his father told the story to him. I am betting its just a ghost storry past generation to genertation to scare little kids, like all ghost stories.
