Stories

This ghost story has a couple diffrent ways of telling itselfs, but there are a few details in each way the story is told that are the same. For example the young lady is about the same age, she is in her early 20s. This young lady also has blond hair and is always seen in a white dress. The Lady of the Lake is found hitchiking on the very same intersection that she was pernouced dead in the lake, and she does not wounder far from it. In one veriation of the story, a ghost of a woman in a white evening gown drinched in water and her so called "bootlegger man friend" were on his boat one evening. During the evening they got into a severe argument and when the boat docked the young lady took the mans car and started to drive around the probably intoxicated. At the intersection of Lawther drive and  Garland road she lost control, the car pluching into the lake. Now every year on the anniversery of her death the young lady will hitch-hike along Garland road where it passes the lake. When a car stops to shelp the young lady in a white dress she gives them an address and gets in the car. When the person in the car turns to ask for more directions the lady is gone leaving only a wet place were she sat. Other Stories say that the Lady of the Lake hitch-hikes every night not just on the anniversery of her death.
